SOUTHMORE CLINIC: PASADENA, TEXAS: site of an abandoned hospital that still stands to this day having survived the brunt of Hurricane Ike. i have felt compeled to investigate this structure ever since i have heard of it and now finally had a great opportunity to do so.The hospital itself is quite large, stretching a football fields length across what looks to be 5 to 10 acres. The structure itself is fairley intact but yet their are pieces of it that have fallen off and is also in a dalapidating condition.it's obvious that it was the main hospital in a town which is a quiet town, and a suburb of Houston.But even in small towns,hospitals produce death and sadness that generate the phenomena we call Paranormal Activty. Here is an investigation done of this structure.

This building was built some 30 years ago as a hospital that treated all of the Pasadena public and then some in those years.Here was it's emblem.

The entrance of this hospital is all boarded up and inaccessible to the public.But that can't stop you from walking around it..

But even the back is boarded up to keep unwanted visitors out and even cats and stray dogs..

Even the walkway that takes you along this once grand structure are grown up with weeds and bush that need to be pulled.

As it got darker the hospital became more alive

The building itself stands very tall and still looks very big from a a far.

Theres no way of getting thru the front door.

every entrance into this hospital is bolted down and inaccessible according to a homeless man i met there while investigating this structure.

My new friend who literally lives on the steps on one the entrances told me about at the activity that goes on here reguraly. He even showed me around the joint. He took me to the morgue, the boiler room..the back entrance where they brought in the dead bodies, to the side entrance where adjacent buildings connected.

Even the back of this once prestigious hospital is creepy and deserted looking

Then once i had seen the whole place..the spirits of this forgotten hospitlal come to life..Here are the first ones..

This was taken from inside the lobby..with my hand and the camera sticking thru the hole. See that mass in the center of the lobby..it's like it's standing there looking at me.

This hospital is extremely haunted.

This was shot from behind the hospital where the morgue and the dead bodies were brought according to past employees that i have talked too.

See the broken window glass? The windows were busted out during Hurricane Ike and since the top 4 flloors are inaccessible,they go unrepaired..

This is a roadway between the hospital and another building..but it leads to the back..the spot where the bodies were brought after they had expired.

This is the entrance in which i met my buddy who lives on these very steps..and told me about all of things he hears from inside this hospital late at night when he is out here..i told him in believed him..

Obviously there have been vandals in the hospital which is really the lowest of the low that participating in defiling private property and not to mention it looks like crap.

Thats why when investigating .USE PRECAUTIONS!

This pic was taken just under the walkway behind the SouthMore Clinc hospital.A spot where the doctors came back and forth from...they actually walked across the top of that awning to get to the 2nd floor offices..

Once again at the front entrance of the hospital.

But then i noticed something completely strange..something terrifying..

Hospital here in Pasadena Texas is extremely haunted. Please do not attempt to go inside this hospital as it is trespassing if you get caught inside. There is also a the spector of homeless people being side as well. Not to mention a really large looking predator that might be of the dark underworld. Proceed with caution!

i actually had pieces of glass thrown near me in this location by the front.

i see somebody's face in that orb..

Due to the hospital being abandoned,vadalism is privilent thru out the hospital. This kind of activity only leads to unrest of the spirits that choose to stay here.

These floors are in accessible. The doors are sealed off due to asbestos and probably severe mold due to the hurricane. But also spirits who still roam the halls of this hospital.

Lots of feral cats out here..but fairley friendly.

And then i ran into some more ghost hunters. Except these boys live in this area so they had heard the stories of the hospital and how it is essentially haunted now. One of the boys was born in this very hospital..

They were telling me about all the spots that were haunted and that there was even an attempted exorcism that went on in here after it closed down.

The boys have heard music coming from this section of the hospital.

Eber said he saw a little girl in this area one while walking home.....

Many people from Pasadena and even Deer Park have been born here.

I think the portal was at the end of this hallway..that is where the spirits seem to show themselves rather easily..

Check out the black mass that moved in front of me while taking pics..i actually saw it with me eyes..

In the hallway of this once prestigious hospital..now reduced to an abandoned memory.

Then my camera began to malfunction.

And again..

one right after another

My camera wasn't cooperating.

Seriously

i couldn't seem to make my camera work properly..this kind of thing is very common in areas of high paranormal activity...sometimes spirits are upset with your presceance and so they lash out on your electronics...

But then finally my camera started to cooperate again and we kept going..

i guess the janitor is still working

Then something happened that would foreshadow some activity later in the night.

The dark mass i had seen in the hospital a weekend before..with my very own eyes..

Then the black mass was back..i could actually see it with my very own eyes..

And now it's gone..no more dark mass..

i've even interviewed people that have worked here and one such account is an engineer who will remain nameless unless he wants it known..but here is what he had to say: i was the engineer at this hospital from 1979 til it closed in 1999. it was definitely suffering from paranormal activity from some very lost souls. other photos are available if you google urban explorer southmore medical center it does have quite a history and i have several anecdotal stories surrounding this facility. BUT THEN HE BLEW MY MIND WITH THIS EXERPT: BTW .an interesting fact of this place is that the first baby delivered in that building was born to a mother who died in the delivery room due to a cross connection in the medical gas system that was caused by oxygen and nitrous oxide lines were mis-labelled by the contractor, she is still there waiting for her baby to be given to her. This resulted in multimillion dollar suits in the 70s which they won the judgement. Freaky huh?
